This process could take a couple of month and at this time the member is in AP status or Approval Pending. When a person joins the Coast Guard Auxiliary they fill out an application, complete a short open book quiz, and undergo an initial security check called a Personal Security Investigation or PSI. How and when your status changes once you join,ĪP Status: This is where all new applicants start off. The member will then send the certificate of course completion to their FSO-IS for entry into AuxData2.
